I have a budding writer at home and this book has been a great tool for cursive practice. Lots of tracing and combinations of letters for skill development. Very pleased with this purchase and with this price!

Great help, beautiful memory practice

My 1st grade student learned cursive in kindergarten. The works books helped him with flow from capital letters to lowercase, endurance, and I love the truth he was writing on paper as well as in his mind and heart. It was great time filler- it allowed him to practice independent, quiet work while I helped my older children. I used all three sets of these books. Highly recommend!

Before switching to this curriculum, my child was learning letters individually without learning the concept of how to connect and form words and sentences. This curriculum builds on letters they’ve learned and allows them to practice words and phrases as they keep learning new letters, helping with letter and word recognition. It’s clean and easy to follow.

This isa terrific guide for cursive writing for my 2nd grader. Unless I've missed it, I wish there were a teacher guide. But so far, he's just picked it up everyday and gets writing! I love the simplicity of it also

Logos Cursive - 2nd Grade

The Logos Cursive books are excellent. My daughter really enjoys them and looks forward to them every day. I particularly love that they are integrated with Scripture and not solely focusing on cursive writing.

Book 3: The Apostles' Creed

It's improved their overall penmanship greatly. The daily exercises should be longer.

I bought these books to 1) improve my children's penmanship and the thought processes that enable such dexterity, and 2) to supplement our Bible memorization. My children's penmanship with cursive, script, and printing has improved greatly in a few months' time, so I am grateful we accomplished our #1 goal. The pages are sturdy for erasures and perforated for easy removal--and I did tear them out, due to this helpful feature.

The main gripe I have is the inconsistent lengths of daily exercises. Book 2 especially has several pages with truncated Bible verses and other quotations, with so many ellipses where there could be words (and unbroken sentences) to copy and memorize. Might a later edition of these books feature more actual letters and words, and fewer ellipses?

So far I have really enjoyed it. I have a 2nd and 4th grader learning and this is just the right amount of practice for the day!
