The cover of this book is hilarious! It made me want to read it. Jim Wilson is a good writer. I also enjoyed his”Weapons and Tactics” book.

Freedom from bitterness

This book takes a scalpel to the roots of bitterness that tangle themselves within a heart. I reread it about every 6 months. I have also ordered many to give away and keep it stocked in our church's resource area. I really cannot recommend this book enough.

Transformed my heart and mind

I bought this book for a friend thinking it may help them in the aftermath of a divorce, but wanted to read it before I placed it in their hands. I had no idea how much I needed it! I now want to buy a copy for all of my newly married kids to help them recognize when bitterness starts to blossom in their hearts and minds in order to cut it off at the pass, so to speak. I can't recommend it more highly. This book clearly explains what bitterness it is and how to deal with it.

I’m very grateful for this little book, and it’s simple yet profound messages on how to recognize & navigate the habits that can ruin relationships & steal the joy of living. There are 10 chapters that address various topics based on the truth of God’s word. I found the chapter on introspection especially eye-opening and liberating. Extra bonus points for the brilliant cover- it’s hilarious & worth a thousand words and a provides an easy way to get a conversation started with someone who might not otherwise pick up a book like this.
