My 4.5 yr old has been showing major interest in learning how to read. We've used the Lovevery pre-reading kit for a little while now so she's very familiar with letter sounds and breaking down words. These books are FAB for her. We haven't gone beyond the first set (short vowel sounds) but it's totally building her confidence in reading! I'm glad I bought this bundle.

My daughter is working on improving her spelling. She’s motivated by the activities. I’m seeing her spelling improve.
I dropped the ball on teaching spelling to my 2nd grader along with her grammar/language arts courses and was looking for an easy and effective way to incorporate it into her day. I have used some of Logos Press curricula in the past, and decided to give this a try. It certainly was simple to add to our daily rhythm and my 8-year-old is quickly picking up patterns. We’ll continue this in her 3rd grade year!
We ordered this curriculum for the coming school year. We've used Noeo Science for the last 3 years and love the open and go aspect of this curriculum! I am particularly thankful for the experiment kits!
I got these to encourage my first grader to read independently- these have helped to build her confidence, and we get lots of laughs from the stories too!
I have a budding writer at home and this book has been a great tool for cursive practice. Lots of tracing and combinations of letters for skill development. Very pleased with this purchase and with this price!
The Amazing Dr. Ransom's Bestiary of Adorable Fallacies
It is very hard to follow and almost never tells you what is going on, but instead gives a bunch of analogies that the book itself says are very loose compared to what is actually happening.
It feels like being white lied to.
The images it shows in the text book are always on a different page so have to flip between papers to visualize what is happening.
It seems like other people have completely different views and review ratings though. Not for me I guess.
Buyer beware!!! Total scam!!!
My son just bought chapter 1-15 for $84.00 assuming it was the complete book since no other chapters are available and there is no indication that it’s not a complete book.
I feel totally scammed! The book is incomplete!!!
We should be able to expect integrity from a Christian publisher…
My recommendation? Do not waste your time r money on an incomplete book. I have reached out to canon press and will update once I have a resolution.
The Case for Christian Nationalism contains many sophisticated and compelling ideas that I found very helpful for my understanding of numerous agruments for the movement. I enjoyed reading the book, and I greatly appreciated Wolfe’s boldness and how he calls Christian men to act on Christian nationalist principles rather than remaining idle in them.
Came in a timely manner & was perfectly packaged! Kids love the science curriculum!
My 1st grade student learned cursive in kindergarten. The works books helped him with flow from capital letters to lowercase, endurance, and I love the truth he was writing on paper as well as in his mind and heart. It was great time filler- it allowed him to practice independent, quiet work while I helped my older children. I used all three sets of these books. Highly recommend!
I have loved this curriculum. I am using it with my 9/10 year old and 11/12 year old this year but my 8 year old join us for almost everything. The older girls generally read the books on their own, we watch the internet links together, answer the questions together (though sometimes they do those independently but the share a book), and we do the experiments together. I’ve learned so much! I think it’s really nice to use these books, similar to ones that we would find at the library. Piecing them up day by day and week by week has encouraged my kids to pick up other books that are similar at the library. It’s been much less boring and easier to fit into life than other textbook like curriculum we have used.
To be offended too quickly is the hallmark of the person who shouldn’t buy this book. This is an adult discussion aimed at the maturity or lack thereof within Christian culture.
I did not open the samples right away, but when I tried to open them several file said, "something went wrong" and I could not open them.
Beautiful and gripping! I loved reading it. I also loved the Winter King and the morals behind it. I love Christine Cohen's works!
We love Chickadee! My son is enjoying making his way through the series and loves putting his sticker on the map when he masters each book. Thanks for making engaging, quality early readers!
